dōTERRA’s quality standard for essential oils, CPTG Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade® , exceeds industry standards. Because organic certification varies from country to country, province to province, and in the US, from state to state, it is not currently possible to acquire all oils under certified organic status. And did you know that to qualify as USDA organic, only 95% of the product needs to be organic? Because essential oils are so potent, dōTERRA tests go far beyond what is necessary for “organic” standards. The company runs every batch of oil through tests at three different times and also runs the oils through a gaunlet of 8 tests that you can read about here. Included is testing for heavy metals, herbacides, pesticides, and any other foreign contaminants as well. dōTERRA has a third party lab test each bottle of oil and you can see the chemical makeup of every bottle of oil that you buy on Sourcetoyou.com, just enter the number on the bottom of the bottle and it will give you the results of that bottle’s test.

We do not recommend buying from any seller rather than dōTERRA. dōTERRA forbids its reps to sell on sites and undercut the wholesale price but they can’t police everyone. You wouldn’t get your prescription on eBay, would you? When you purchase through our site you will be purchasing directly through dōTERRA via a wellness advocate. Items are shipped directly from dōTERRA’s warehouse. Wellness Advocates are people who educate about how to safely use essential oils (such as ourselves and we earn a commission for doing so). Through us, you’ll get access to training from many holistic practitioners who have been working with essential oils for anywhere from 5-20 years.
